Types of vitamin A
There are two types of vitamin A, The first types comes from animals and the second type comes from plants
Vitamin A found in foods that come from animals like liver and milk is called preformed vitamin A and It is absorbed in the form of retinol
In the other side Vitamin A that is found in colorful fruits and vegetables is called provitamin A carotenoid.
All studies about fruits and vegetables encourages consumption of all kinds fruits and vegetables that rich in carotenoids for their health promoting benefits.
Somes studies shows that Some provitamin A carotenoids have been shown to function as antioxidants.Antioxidants protect cells from free radicals, and prevent cancer diseases

Provitamin A carotenoids is found in foods that come from plants are abundant in yellow colored fruits and vegetables like orange fruit , carrots, papaya fruit , mango fruit and sweet potatoes
